Conducting regular overseas publicity campaigns to promote Indian Basmati rice and its unique qualities among importers, dealers, consumers, and government agencies.
Collecting, collating, and analyzing statistical data related to global rice production and trade scenarios.
Organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences within India on key and contemporary issues impacting the rice industry.
Maintaining regular liaison with State and Central Government bodies and institutions such as APEDA, EIC, AGMARK, FSSAI, BIS, IIP, ICAR, IARI, State Agricultural Universities, Agriculture Departments, and Indian Institute of Rice Research.
Assisting exporters in the assessment and redressal of trade-related complaints and issues.
Engaging with government agencies on trade-related matters, including incentives, financial assistance, and benefits under various schemes.
Sharing relevant and timely trade leads with member exporters to support market expansion.
Undertaking Basmati Export Development Fund (BEDF) and ICAR-supported research projects aimed at boosting rice exports.
Promoting and strengthening the Basmati rice supply chain by integrating the efforts of farmers, millers, traders, exporters, and consumers, with a focused and objective approach.
